Lynda writes mainly for film, TV and digital fiction and is attempting her first novel.
She has recently written the short film script Hold (Dir: Jonathan Blagrove) for Coda Films Ltd which has been nominated for Best East Anglian Film at the Norwich Film Festival 2020. (www.holdshortfilm.co.uk)
It also has made the official selection for the Oscar affiliated, Bafta and Bifa recognised Foyle Film Festival, Derry; the This is England festival 2020 in Rouen, France; the Screen and Story Film Festival 2020; the Derby Film Festival 2020 and the Amplify/FILMBATH Festival 2020.
Her short film Grace was screened at the Short Film corner at Cannes Film Festival and won Best Producer award at Underwire Film Festival.
Her feature film script All for Her made the final four selected scripts for Creative England/write2screen as part of their Script Hot House scheme and her feature film script Solid, based on real life events from Paul Medley, was chosen for development by the National Film and Television School and The Script Factory and read by Samuel L Jackson's company Bushwazee Films.
She has Television Researcher credits on programmes for BBC1 and Channel Four and is currently developing ideas for TV drama series, shorts and feature films.
Lynda also creates Educational resources and works on Community projects. She is a qualified teacher and created on-line educational resources forLondon Olympics and Paralympics 2012 from 2008-2012.
She has a Master's degree in Creative Writing (Scriptwriting) from the University of East Anglia where she was the winner of the Skillset Bursaryfor promising new scriptwriters and has a Post Graduate degree in Education and a BA in English and Combined Arts from Bretton Hall, University of Leeds.
She has lived near Washington DC, USA and Jerez, Spain and is currently based back in her home town of Norwich, Norfolk.
